Adverse political events in Porto Seguro resulted in the cancellation of the 3rd BRAZIL FOOTBALL FESTIVAL, scheduled for the period of the 31/JUL 06/AGO/2010. The damage to the credibility of the event is incalculable. 48 teams (more than 1,100 athletes), foreign and local, have been confirmed and recorded, with airline tickets purchased and hotel booked, will suffer with the cancellation of the event. Besides the teams, the BFF also has commitments to technical observers, national and international, with carriers, with hotels, restaurants, sports material, with staffing, with sponsors, with a representative of the FIFA Fair Play, etc.. For these reasons, the direction of BFF promises to seek damages in court against the city government of Porto Seguro.
